How cute! We are big fans of the Hunger Games. We listened to all the books on audio and only wish we could find something else as compelling!

      Melanie,

we are listening to Artemis Fowl on audio, and really enjoying it. -Not as compelling as the Hunger games, but still enjoyable. Kind of along the same lines are The Shadow Children series by Margaret Peterson Haddix – I had a houseful of teens one Spring break who could not put them down.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. We need a book to listen to on our road trip in May.

I loved your post, outlining what parenting with Love and logic looks like in that scene of the Hunger Games – great catch!
