My cousin went to Biola University. I wonder if she knows about Biola Star…
noticed you did classical conversations a few years ago. How many years did you do it? Why did you stop if you don’t mind me asking. we did it this year and just curious. thanks. shelia
Hi Shelia,
we only did Classical Conversations one year. I think I just burnt out by being a tutor my very first year in. I also realized that my bonus student, who was behind in some subjects- really needed more time catching up at home, and CC was taking up too much of our week. Our CC day was tiring, so we did no other work on that day, and then the day before I had to spend the last half of our day preparing for CC and then I don’t have my bonus student at my house one day, so I was just losing too much time. I miss the close-knit community of CC, but it was a relief to slow down. That saying, we haven’t done anywhere near the amount of memory work that we did in CC – I miss having it all set out for me. I don’t mind questions at all, feel free to leave another comment or email me if you have more. :)
